In the middle of Thakur Village in Kandivali East, you can find our office at Flat 603 in the Tulip-B building of Gundecha Valley of Flowers. Mumbai is a fast place, and being here in this complex puts us right in the thick of things. It is a residential area, so our office has that home-like feel to it. We aren't in some glass tower in BKC; we are just in a regular building where people live and work. The space is a bit small, but we have managed to fit in all the desks and equipment we need. Usually, the morning starts with the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. We get our tasks sorted out and start the long process of managing everything that comes our way. The traffic around Kandivali can be pretty bad, so we are glad we don't have to travel too far once we are in the area. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things from this flat. It is mostly just phones ringing and typing on keyboards throughout the day. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big reception desk. It is just a place where the work gets done. Sometimes we step out to the balcony to catch a bit of air if the day gets too hectic. It is a practical way to run a business in a city like Mumbai where space is hard to find. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
