Phy World-Mumbai

If you come out of the Mahim West station exit, you’re basically right near us. Phy World-Mumbai is situated over by Elite Opticals in the Moti Nagar area. It’s a busy little corner of Mumbai. We get a lot of people walking in who are just tired of their backs hurting or having some old injury act up again. It’s a practical space. We have the usual equipment, some tables, and a lot of rubbing alcohol and clean towels. The noise from the station is always there in the background, which is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We start early most days because that’s when people want to come in before they head to their jobs. The afternoon is usually a bit slower, giving us time to catch up on notes or fix the equipment. We aren't trying to be some high-end spa. This is about movement and getting things working right again. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from around Mahim. We know their stories and which bus they take to get here. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped if a few people show up early at once, but nobody seems to mind much. We just keep things moving as best as we can. It’s simple work, helping people feel a bit better so they can get through their commute without too much trouble.
