Our office is in room 405 of the Ashirwad Building on Ahmedabad Street. It is right near Carnac Bunder, so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and the docks nearby. Pheonix Appliances is mostly an administrative and distribution hub. We don't have a big showroom where you can walk around and look at things. Instead, we have desks covered in invoices and a few sample pieces of the mixers and fans we deal with. The building itself is quite old and the lift can be a bit temperamental, so we often find ourselves taking the stairs. We spend most of the day on the phone with dealers or checking on shipments that are coming in from the port. It is a practical kind of business. We don't have a fancy reception area or people in suits. It is just us, a few computers, and a lot of filing cabinets. We have been in this location for a good while and we like the grit of the area. There is always a place to get good tea nearby, which helps when the workload gets heavy. We manage the distribution for various home appliances across the city. It involves a lot of coordination and sometimes things get delayed, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest name, just a reliable one for our partners.
