Road No 11 in MIDC is a busy stretch. We sit in Empress Business Bay, specifically unit 1/A. It’s a big building, but we’re just one part of it. Being near the UTI Mutual Fund office helps people find us, otherwise, MIDC can be a maze. Andheri East is always moving fast. The traffic outside is usually a nightmare during peak hours. Inside, it’s a bit more controlled. We have desks, computers, and a lot of phone calls going on. You can hear the hum of the city through the glass. We don't have a view of the ocean or anything, just other office blocks and the road. The elevator is usually crowded in the morning. People are always rushing in and out of Empress Business Bay. Our space is functional. We don't have fancy art on the walls. It’s mostly maps and schedules. We deal with overseas stuff at Phamazon Overseas Pvt. Ltd., so the clocks on the wall sometimes show different times. It’s a lot of coordination and typing. The staff brings lunch from home and we eat at our desks mostly. It’s not a corporate showroom. It’s a place where we manage logistics and talk to people across borders. By the time evening rolls around, we’re just looking to beat the traffic back to the station. It’s a standard Andheri workday for us. We just keep the shipments moving and the emails sent.
