You can find us at the Western India Building, which is right on Sewree Bunder Road in Sewree East. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history and a lot of salt in the air because of the docks. We’ve been operating Petrot Packaging from here for quite some time. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of space for what we do. Working in Sewree East means dealing with a lot of harbor traffic and the smell of the sea, which you get used to after a week or two. Our day usually starts early to beat some of the congestion on the Bunder road. We handle a lot of packaging materials, moving boxes and rolls around the floor. It’s physical work and the space can get a bit cluttered when a big shipment comes in. We don’t have a fancy showroom or a team of salespeople in suits. It’s mostly just us in our work clothes making sure the orders are packed right and ready for the trucks. A lot of the other businesses around here do similar industrial work, so we all kind of know each other. We just try to stay on top of things and keep our customers happy without making a big fuss about it. It’s a busy, noisy, and practical place to work, but it suits us just fine.
