Petal Sensation

Our office for Petal Sensation is up on the 21st floor of the Nirmal building in Nariman Point. It takes a little while to get up here in the elevator, but the view of the city is actually pretty decent when the weather is clear. We spend our days surrounded by flowers and arrangements. It can get a bit messy with all the stems and leaves on the floor, but that is just part of the job for us. Most of the time we are busy taking orders over the phone or getting things ready for deliveries. Nariman Point is a busy area, so there is always a lot of energy around the building. We are not a giant corporation, just a team of people who like working with plants. The space can get a little humid because of the flowers, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. Sometimes we run out of space for all the vases we keep in stock. We do not have a big showroom; it is more of a workspace where we put everything together before it goes out. People often ask how we manage to get everything up to the 21st floor, and it just takes some planning with the service lifts. We have been here for a while and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We just focus on making sure the flowers look okay and getting them delivered on time.
