If you walk down Gali No. 3 in the Rajana Industrial Estate at Waliv Fata, you will find us. We are in the Vasai East area, which has changed a lot since we first moved in. At Perfect Mould Makers, we spend our days staring at blueprints and blocks of steel. Making moulds is slow work and you can't really rush it or you’ll mess up the whole thing. The workshop is pretty packed with equipment and stacks of raw material. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there’s always a bit of grease or metal dust around. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the machines by heart. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most people find us because someone else told them we do okay work. Sometimes we stay late into the night if a client has a deadline that’s coming up fast. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when we take a break and sit on the stools outside the gate. It’s a tough business and the competition in Vasai is high, but we just focus on the block of metal in front of us. That’s how we’ve always done it and it seems to work out for us.
