You can find Perfect Machine Tools, Co. Ltd. in the Bell Building on Sir P.M. Road. Being in Fort feels different than the newer parts of Mumbai. The ceilings are high, the windows are large, and the walls are thick. We’ve been selling machine tools from this spot for quite a while now. It’s a lot of heavy equipment, or at least talking about it, since we can't fit every big machine in the office here. Most of our time is spent helping people figure out which lathe or drill press they actually need for their specific shop. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk or buzzwords. If a machine is good, we tell them. If it’s not right for the job they are doing, we tell them that too. The traffic outside in Fort is always humming with taxis and people, and there’s a lot of history in these old streets. Our office is strictly functional. We have old wooden desks and metal filing cabinets that have been here as long as I can remember. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing all morning, and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some serious paperwork done. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for years. We know the machine tool business inside out. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. We just focus on the machines and the people who use them every day.
