PEARL LITE

You can find PEARL LITE over at 105, Ramji Thakarshi Building. We are on Kantilal M Sharma Street, right in that busy area of Dhobi Talao and Lohar Chawl in Kalbadevi. If you know Mumbai markets, you know how hectic it gets around here. Our building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. We’ve got our setup inside, and it stays pretty packed with inventory most of the time. It’s not the quietest place to work because of all the handcarts and people shouting outside on the street, but we’re used to it by now. We spend most of our hours checking boxes and talking to folks who stop in. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure the counts are right. We don't have any polished carpets or fancy air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a practical workspace where we do our business. Most of our day is spent handling the logistics of getting stuff in and out of Kalbadevi, which isn't always easy with the narrow lanes. We just focus on the daily routine and keeping things ticking along. It's a bit dusty sometimes, and the lights might flicker, but it's home for us during the work week. We just do what we do without much fuss or making a big deal out of it. We like it that way.
