PDR Videotronics India Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at Building No.- 99 on Old Prabhadevi Road. If you know the area, we’re right behind Bangal Chemical. It’s an old part of town, so it has that specific Mumbai feel where everything is a bit cramped but somehow works out. We’ve been involved in the electronics scene here for a long time. The office is full of parts, boxes, and people who have been working with video gear since before everything went completely digital. It gets humid in the summer, and the monsoon rain hits the windows pretty hard. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with plants. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a workbench with a soldering iron or a screwdriver. We handle a lot of different stuff from this small space. It’s busy, and the phone rings more than we’d like, but it keeps us on our toes. The team is a mix of older guys who know everything about circuits and younger ones who are better with the software side. We eat lunch together most days, usually getting something from the local stalls nearby. It isn’t a high-tech lab you’d see on TV, just a real place where things get fixed and shipped out. We’ve stayed in Prabhadevi because it’s central, and we’ve gotten used to the noise of the traffic outside. It is just the way we like to run things here.
