Our office is located in Kothari Bhuvan on Ardeshir Dadi Street, right in the Charni Road area. We are on the first floor. If you are looking for us, the best landmark is Trupti Sweets, which is right across the street in Monpara Lane. That sweet shop is always busy, and sometimes the smell of frying snacks makes it hard to wait for lunchtime. The building we are in is quite old, like most of the structures around Charni Road. It has those wooden stairs that creak a little when you walk up. The rooms have high windows that look out onto the narrow street below. It is a very traditional Mumbai neighborhood where everyone seems to know everyone else. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have some desks, a few computers, and a lot of old ledgers and papers. We don't use much in the way of modern design; it is more about having a functional place to sit and get through the day's tasks. The street outside is usually full of delivery carts and people rushing to the station. It can be quite loud with the honking and the shouting of vendors, but once you are inside Kothari Bhuvan, it feels a bit more secluded. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but our little office on the first floor stays pretty much the same. It is just a honest place to work.
