Past 'N' Present

Our little spot, Past 'N' Present, is tucked away in the Ionic Building over in Colaba. Specifically, we are at A-4, right by the Colaba Telephone Bhavan. It's an old area with a lot of history, and the building has that classic feel to it. We even have a post office box, number 6067, for the mail that comes in every couple of days. Working in Colaba means there is always something going on outside the windows. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the streets, but that is just part of being in this part of town. We spend our days inside handling the various things that come through our doors. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days everyone is rushing around trying to find something or finish a task. It’s not a corporate setup at all. The floors might creak a bit and the paint is probably older than some of the staff, but it feels like home to us. We’ve stayed here because it’s a good location and people know where to find us. We don't do much advertising or anything flashy. Usually, it's just word of mouth or people walking by the Telephone Bhavan and noticing our name on the directory. We like the atmosphere here. It matches the name on the door in a way. It’s just us doing our thing every day, year after year. It suits us fine. There is no need for anything fancy.
