We’ve been running PARTHENON ARCHITECTS Pvt. Ltd. out of our office at Cosmos Plaza for a while now. Most people know the building because it’s right across from the Indian Oil on JP Road here in Andheri West. We are usually up on the sixth floor, in units 604 and 605, mostly just staring at blueprints or arguing over where a wall should go. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for us. Getting through the traffic on JP Road can be a bit of a nightmare some days, but that is just life in this part of town. Our team isn't huge. It is just a few of us who actually like building things and figure out how to make spaces work. We spend a lot of time on site or sitting at the big tables in the back room trying to get the dimensions right. Sometimes the office gets messy with all the paper and samples lying around, but we know where everything is. We don't really do big speeches or fancy presentations. People just come by, we sit down with some tea, and we talk about what they need for their project. It is pretty straightforward. If you are looking for us, look for the Cosmos Plaza sign near the petrol pump. We’re usually there until late most evenings, especially when a deadline is coming up. It’s just how we do things here. We like the neighborhood, even with the noise and the crowds outside. It feels real.
