Parth Overseas

If you look for us in Malad West, you’ll find Parth Overseas over at No 138 in the New Sonal Link Industrial Estate. We’re in Building Number 2, which is part of a pretty big complex with lots of other businesses going on. It can be a bit of a maze back here on the Malad Link Road, especially when the traffic gets heavy in the afternoons. Our space is usually filled with samples and shipping papers. We deal with overseas trade, so there’s always something moving in or out. It’s a lot of coordination, talking to people on the phone, and making sure the logistics don't fall apart. Some of us have been here for years, and we know the tea stall guy and the other neighbors in the estate pretty well. It’s a working environment, so don't expect anything too polished. We just have our desks, our stock, and the steady sound of the city outside. The rains in Mumbai can make the commute to Malad a bit of a headache, but we always show up and get the day started. We handle a variety of products for export and import, depending on what the market needs. It’s basically about keeping things moving from one place to another without too much fuss. We don't spend money on big signs; we just stay busy with the work at hand and get the shipments out.
