Finding us means heading to Room 514 inside Prasad Chambers. If you know the diamond trade in Mumbai, you know this building is the place to be. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a door among many others on the floor. Inside, it’s all about the gems. We have those standard tables set up for looking at stones, and the floor is usually covered with a few stray bits of packing paper. It gets pretty loud in the hallways during peak hours when everyone is trading. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media team. Most people find us because they’ve been told where we are. The air conditioner hums in the corner, and we usually have the radio playing low in the background. It feels like a second home because we spend so many hours here. Sometimes we have to wait a while for the elevator, so we’ve learned to be patient. We handle the jewelry with care, but we don't make a big show of it. It’s just the daily routine of checking inventory and talking to the people who stop by with pieces. The desk is always a bit messy with notes and lists, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s a practical way to work in a busy city like this. We usually close up shop once the last courier has left for the day and the light in the building starts to dim.
