Our place is out in Vasai East, in the Shripal Industrial Estate. We are in Building Number 3, Wing A, right on Waliv Road. It’s a bit of a journey for some of us to get here every day, but once you’re in the industrial area, it’s all about the work. The estate is quite big and there are always trucks moving in and out. Our space is mostly taken up by the equipment and the desks where we handle all the technical side of things. It’s not like a shop where people just walk in off the street; it’s more of a focused environment where we deal with the machines and the projects we have going on. The building is a standard industrial structure, nothing too special to look at, but it’s sturdy and gives us the room we need. We spend a lot of time on the floor checking things and making sure everything is running the way it should. Lunchtime is usually spent with the guys from the other units or just sitting in the office area. By the time evening rolls around, Waliv Road gets pretty busy with everyone heading home. It’s a straightforward industrial life here in Thane. We just focus on the technical details and try to keep everything moving forward without too much fuss or extra talk. It is just regular work for us.
