Down here in Andheri East, specifically in Sanjay Nagar, you'll find our spot at Swastic Chawl. Working at Parekh Plast means being right in the middle of all the Mumbai chaos. Andheri is always crowded, and the area around Sanjay Nagar is no different. We operate out of a space that isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need for the plastic work. It’s a bit loud because of the machines and the street noise coming in from outside. Most of the people working here live close by, so we have a good mix of folks who know the neighborhood well. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things difficult, especially when the lanes get muddy, but we haven't missed a day in a long time. We do a lot of packing and moving stuff around. There isn’t a fancy reception desk or anything. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone busy with a ledger or checking the stock. We don't use big words to describe what we do. It’s just about making the plastic parts and getting them to the people who ordered them. The address on the paper says Mumbai-59, and that’s exactly where we stay, right in the thick of the industrial part of the suburb. It’s dusty and busy, but it’s home for us.
