Paradise Marine Services

Down here in Bhandup East, at Paradise Marine Services, we spend most of our time dealing with boat parts and marine engine repairs. We are located at Plot No. C/6 in the Jai Shree Krishna Chs. It’s a decent enough spot, though parking is usually a struggle when the bigger delivery trucks show up in the morning. The air around here always smells a bit like diesel oil and the sea, which I guess is normal for what we do. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for years. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation; we just like fixing things that go on the water and making sure they work. Some days are really quiet and we just sit around cleaning our tools, but then a big job comes in from the coast and we are working until midnight. My desk is usually covered in old manuals and grease-stained invoices. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If the gate is open, you just walk in and yell hello. We get a lot of guys from the nearby docks stopping by to ask for advice or a specific spare part we might have tucked away in the back of the shed. It’s dusty work and our clothes never stay clean for more than an hour. But we like it here and the neighborhood is alright.
