Pankaj Optics

Pankaj Optics is tucked away in the Arunodaya Society on Juhu Lane in Andheri West. We are right at B-4, just across from the New India Quarters. It is a bit of a local landmark for people who have lived in this part of Andheri for a long time. The shop isn't very big, but it is packed with glasses and lenses. We have been here for years, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We still do things the old-fashioned way, mostly. We take our time with each person who comes in because picking out frames is a personal thing. Sometimes the shop feels a bit crowded when a whole family comes in at once, but we don't mind the noise. We have a lot of regular customers who just stop by to say hello or get their frames tightened. The street outside can get pretty jammed with cars, especially in the evenings, but it is a lively place to be. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. We try to keep things relaxed and helpful without being pushy. It is just a simple optical shop where we try to do a good job every day. People seem to appreciate that we are not part of a big corporation. We are just local folks doing our work every day.
