Panch Tatva

We have been here at 29, Veena Vihar for quite a while now. Most people in the neighborhood know us because we are right next to the Shanmukhananda Hall in Sion. It is a very busy spot with people always coming and going for shows. We handle things day by day in this small space. It is not a very large shop, but we make it work for what we need. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get really hectic, especially in the afternoons. Usually, we just open up early and see who comes through the door. The traffic around here can be a bit much in the evenings when the hall has events, but that is just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We do not have fancy signs or anything like that. You will just see the name Panch Tatva on the door. Inside, it is pretty simple. We keep our supplies stacked against the wall where there is room. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the entrance because of the crowds, but we usually just wave them down from the street. It is a family-run kind of setup. We do not really do much advertising. People find us by word of mouth or if they happen to be walking past toward the station. Life here is mostly about keeping up with orders. It gets dusty being so close to the main road, so we try to keep things clean.
