Padma Gems

You can find Padma Gems over at 3-15/b in the Sopariwala Estate, which is part of the Prasad Chambers compound in the Opera House area. It’s a bit of a mouthful to explain the address to people who haven't been here before. You have to navigate through the compound to find our specific spot. The estate is an old place, and it’s got a lot of character, even if it’s a bit rough around the edges sometimes. We’ve been working out of this space for years. It’s a small office, mostly filled with desks and lamps for seeing things clearly. Since we are in Opera House, the whole neighborhood is focused on the same thing we are. It makes for a busy atmosphere every day of the week. We aren't a big corporation. We’re just a few people who have a lot of experience with stones and jewelry. We spend our hours checking quality and talking to the people who come by. We don't have a website that looks like a magazine or anything like that. We just do our work and talk to our neighbors. Sometimes we share tea with the people in the next office over. It’s a very human way to do business. We just try to stay honest and keep our heads down so we can get the work done right for anyone who walks through our door at the compound.
