Pacific Trends is tucked away in F-104 of the Parmeshwar Industrial Estate. We are on Chincholi Bunder Road in Malad West. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by all kinds of other workshops and businesses. There is always a lot of noise from the street—trucks backing up and people shouting to be heard over the machines. Our space is functional and mostly filled with fabric, patterns, and sewing equipment. We focus on trends, but the actual work is much more about grit and staying on schedule. Malad West is a huge hub for this kind of work, so we feel right at home here. The air in the estate can get a bit stuffy in the summer, but we have our fans going and everyone just pushes through. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management. If something needs doing, the nearest person just grabs a tool or a phone and handles it. We’ve been at this for several years now. We know the chai wallah outside and the guys at the loading dock by name. Our office isn’t much to look at, just some sturdy tables and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t use fancy language to describe what we do. We just make things and try to keep up with the orders that come through Chincholi Bunder Road. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving.
