P Pradeep Kumar & Company

Our office, P Pradeep Kumar & Company, is located in Malad East. We are right on 1st Gauthan Lane, which is right next to the Titan Safety Vaults. It’s a bit of a narrow lane, so it can be tricky for cars, but most people just walk from the station. The office itself is quite plain. We have a few wooden desks, some old steel cupboards for the files, and a lot of calculators. We handle a lot of accounts and tax stuff, so there are always stacks of papers and ledgers everywhere. It’s not a very modern place, but it works for us. Pradeep is usually in the inner room dealing with the more complicated cases, while the rest of us sit out front. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but we don't really notice it anymore. We get a lot of sunlight in the morning, which is nice. Most of our clients are local businessmen from the Malad area who have been coming to us for years. We don't really do any advertising; people just find us through word of mouth or because they saw the sign while walking to the vaults. It’s a steady kind of job, keeping everything in order and making sure the filings are done on time. We take a lunch break at one and usually get some snacks from the corner shop.
