P. K. Enterprises is tucked away on the first floor of Amrut Niwas. Our address is 159/2, right on 6th Cavel Cross Lane in the Kalbadevi area. If you’ve ever been to Dr. V Bigas Street, you know how packed and lively Kalbadevi Road gets every single day. It’s a bit of a maze in these lanes, but we’ve managed to stay put in this same spot for a long time now. Our space isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to run our enterprises. Usually, you’ll find us sorting through files or talking to vendors who stop by to check on things. The building itself has that old Mumbai feel to it, with narrow stairs and a lot of activity on every floor. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders; we are just more concerned with getting our daily tasks finished. There’s always the sound of handcarts and scooters outside our window. It’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a variety of items and paperwork, mostly focusing on the wholesale side of things that happens in this market. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a regular one that local traders can find when they need something. Most days are just about managing stock and making sure the billing is right. It’s simple work, but it keeps us very busy and the days go by fast.
