P B J-Industrial Electronics is located in the Charkop area, specifically at Ieec House. It is part of the Government Industrial Estate, so it’s pretty industrial around here. There is a lot of movement during the day with trucks and people walking to different units. Our space is at 72-B-C-D. It is a big enough area for what we do, which is mostly focusing on industrial-grade parts. The air usually smells a bit like solder and old metal. We have some heavy benches and tools that have been around for years. It’s not a quiet place. You can hear the hum of machinery from the neighboring units through the walls. We spend a lot of time testing things and packing boxes. Kandivli West is a crowded part of the city, and getting here in the morning takes some patience with the traffic. Inside, we have rows of shelves filled with components. It’s organized, but in a way that only we really understand. Sometimes the power flickers, and we just wait it out. It is just the way things are in this estate. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find someone. Most of the staff has been here long enough that we don't need to say much to get through the day's tasks. It’s just work. We keep the lights dim when it’s too bright outside. It saves on the bill and feels better for everyone in the office.
