Owens Corning (I) Ltd

Our office is in Mittal Apartment, right on Old Padra Road in Vadodara. It’s a busy area, especially near Mihir Park Society. If you know Vadodara, you know how the traffic gets around here in the evenings. We aren’t in a big glass skyscraper or anything, just a regular apartment building that we use for our operations. I’ve been working here for some time now, and the view from the window is mostly just the tops of trees and the cars going by. Inside, it’s mostly computers and files stacked up on the desks. We handle a lot of the local business stuff for Owens Corning from this spot. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we manage. Usually, there’s a tea break around four, and we go down to the little stall nearby. The office gets a bit dusty because of the road construction that never seems to end, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We don’t really have a big reception area, so when people come by, they usually just walk straight back to where we are sitting. It’s a practical setup. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away. My boss isn't too fussy about how things look as long as the work gets finished. It feels more like a small group of friends than a big company most days.
