Working out of the Panchratna building at Opera House is something else. We are way up on the 23rd floor, room 2302. Being in Girgaon means it's always busy outside on Mama Parmanand Marg. You can hear the traffic even from this high up sometimes. Overseas Diamond Impex (India) Llp has been in this spot for a bit. It’s a tight-knit community here in the diamond district. Everyone knows everyone. The elevators are always full of people in a hurry. We just do our thing up here. It’s a practical space, not much room for extras, but it gets the job done. Dealing with the daily grind in Mumbai is just part of it. We spend a lot of time on the phones and looking at documents. It’s a lot of stairs if the lift is slow, but luckily that doesn't happen too often. The view from Plot 21 is mostly other buildings and a bit of the city skyline. We’ve got our desks set up and we just keep moving through the tasks. No fancy reception area here, just the work. It’s a bit cramped with all the files, but we manage. That’s how it is in this part of town. You use every inch of space you have. We've got our routine down and we stick to it. Just a regular bunch of folks working in the heart of the city.
