Our office is in Mumbai, specifically in the Shreyas building on N.C. Kelkar Road in Dadar West. We are up on the 4th floor in Room No. 45/55. If you know Dadar, you know how busy it gets around here. There are people everywhere and the noise from the street never really stops. Inside our small room, it is mostly filled with desks and some old filing cabinets. The building is a bit old, so the lift can be a bit slow or sometimes it just does not work at all. Often, we do not mind taking the stairs though. Being on the 4th floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops around us. It is a very practical spot for us because the station is so close. Getting anywhere in the city is pretty fast from here. The room itself is a bit cramped when we are all in at the same time, but we make it work. To keep the air moving, we have a small fan that wobbles a bit. We do not have any fancy signs or big posters on the walls. It is just a place where we sit down and get our daily tasks done. Whenever the monsoon rains come, the windows leak a little, so we have to move the papers away. We are just a local team trying to stay on top of our work in the middle of this huge city. We have been in Shreyas for several years and it feels like home now. We take our breaks whenever we can.
