Our location is at 57, Salokha Co-Op. Hsg. Society, specifically Flat No.1433 in Kannamwar Nagar-1. We are right in the Vikhroli-E area of Mumbai-400 083. Being an elevator company in Mumbai means you are always on the move. Otis Elevator Company India has a lot of history, but our little branch here is just focused on the local buildings. Mumbai is a vertical city, so elevators are basically the lifeblood of every apartment block. We spend our days dealing with the humidity and the salt air that can be tough on metal parts. Our office isn't anything special to look at; it's just a flat where we keep our records and coordinate with the technicians. We don't talk like we’re in a boardroom. We talk like people who have been working with their hands all day. We know the shortcuts through Vikhroli and we know which buildings have the old lifts that need extra care. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical thinking, but we like it. We don't make big claims about being the best or having a grand mission. We just want to make sure the doors open when they should and the lift stops at the right floor. It’s a simple, practical job and we’ve been doing it out of this society for a while now. We’re just part of the local fabric here.
