Our place is B-44 in the New Empire Industrial Premises in Kondivita. It’s part of the J B Nagar area in Andheri East, which is always packed with people and vehicles. Osworld Scientific Equipments P Ltd has been operating out of this unit for a good while. Inside, you’ll find a lot of scientific tools and equipment boxed up or sitting on benches. It’s not a showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we check things over and get orders ready. The air feels a bit heavy with the smell of grease and packing tape. We have a lot of metal shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Finding anything requires knowing exactly which corner it’s tucked into. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. The lights are those long tubes that hum a little. We spend the day talking to technicians and making sure the sensitive gear doesn't get bumped around. Outside, the industrial estate is always loud with trucks and people shouting. We usually eat our lunch at our desks or go out to the small stall around the corner. It is a busy life in Andheri. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the middle of the work. That is just how we run things here. It is practical and it keeps us moving forward every day.
