This office is tucked away in Shri Durga Prasad building, Flat Number 2, in J.B. Nagar. If you know Andheri East, you know how busy the streets can get. We are right in the middle of all that Mumbai energy. Most of our time is spent dealing with shipping papers and talking to people at the port. It gets noisy outside with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some wooden cabinets filled with old files and a few computers that have seen better days. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the dampness coming through the windows. We usually order lunch from the small canteen nearby or bring dabbas from home. It is a lot of coordination work, making sure things move from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the phones ring all at once and it gets a bit loud inside. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms, just a table where we sit and figure things out. It feels like a local family business even though we handle big shipping stuff. The building is older, so the stairs are a bit narrow. We like being in this part of town because it is close to the station. It is just a regular place where work happens every single day.
