Osaka Rubber Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Mittal Industrial Estate. We are in unit 6/103 on the Andheri Kurla Road. Marol is a busy spot, and the traffic around Andheri East can be pretty tough, especially during the monsoon. Our place smells like rubber, which I guess you’d expect. It’s a smell you get used to after a few days. We make all sorts of rubber parts and linings. The machines we use are old but they still do the job just fine. We have a small crew and most of us have been here for a long time. It’s not a polished corporate office. There are stacks of rubber sheets and molds everywhere you look. We spend our days cutting, pressing, and checking the quality of what we make. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to redo a batch, but that’s just how it goes sometimes. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We'd rather just spend that time making sure the rubber is right. People know where to find us if they need something custom made. It’s a bit dusty and the noise from the street never really stops, but it’s home for us. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, focusing on the work and not much else. If you see the sign for Mittal Estate, you're pretty much there. It's been a solid place for us to work.
