You can find us at Orion Racing India over in room five-zero-seven at the K. J. Tohomaya Polytechnic Hostel. We are right there in Vidya Vihar East. It is basically a workspace where a bunch of us hang out and work on vehicles. Being in a hostel building means it’s never really quiet. There are tools everywhere and usually someone is covered in grease or staring at a computer screen. We spend a lot of our time just trying to figure out how to make things move faster or stay together under pressure. It’s not a corporate office. It’s a room filled with parts, old tires, and sketches pinned to the walls. Most of us are students or used to be, so the atmosphere is pretty casual but we take the builds seriously. Some nights we stay up way too late because a part doesn’t fit or the engine is acting up. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and see what we’re doing. It gets hot in the room during the afternoons, but we have a few fans going. People stop by to see the progress or just to talk about cars. We do a lot of the work ourselves, learning as we go. It’s a lot of trial and error. We just wanted a place to build things and this hostel room is where we ended up setting everything up.
