The office is over at Ujagar Industrial Estate, which is unit 36. It’s right on W.T. Patil Marg in Govandi. If you know the industrial area, you know it’s a place where people are always moving things around. There are trucks coming in and out, and the sound of machinery is pretty much the background music to our day. We spend a lot of time in the lab and the office area. It’s an industrial estate, so don't expect anything too fancy. The walls are that standard office color, and the furniture is built to last, not necessarily to look good. We’ve been here at Organica Biotech Pvt. Ltd. for a long time. The location is convenient for logistics, which is why we stay. Getting here in the morning can be a bit of a crawl depending on the traffic on the main road. Once we’re inside, we just focus on the biotech work. The air conditioning is our best friend during the summer months because those industrial units can get really hot. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we’re working late. It’s a straightforward environment. We don't have any big signs or flashy displays. Just the name on the door and a lot of work happening behind it. It’s a busy life in Govandi, but it suits the way we work. The security guard at the gate knows us all by name now, which is a nice touch for a big estate.
