Our place, Oralee Power Industries Pvt. Ltd., is located at 115/B in the Hammersmith Industrial Estate. If you’re heading down Sitladevi Temple Road in Mahim West, we’re right across from the temple area. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the temple is. The industrial estate itself is pretty old and has that classic Mahim feel to it. Inside 115/B, we’ve got our setup for power industry work. It’s a mix of heavy parts and office desks where we try to keep the paperwork from piling up too high. The estate gets pretty crowded with trucks and people moving crates, especially in the mornings. We’ve been here in Mahim West for quite a while, so we’re used to the humidity and the salt in the air from the coast. We don’t really go in for big corporate speeches or mission statements. We just show up, see what the power industry demands for the day, and get to it. Sometimes the neighbors from other units in Hammersmith drop by to borrow a tool or just to chat for a minute. It’s a decent community of workers here. Our space isn't perfectly painted or anything, but it’s solid and it works for what we need to do. Being opposite Sitladevi Temple Road makes it easy for visitors to find us, even if the traffic in Mahim is usually a mess. We just keep our heads down and do the work until it’s time to close up and go home.
