I don't have a big physical office with a fancy sign out front that I can give you an address for. Most of my coordination happens through that email address. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and it’s just how things have settled. Being an operator means I have to stay on top of things and make sure the processes are followed correctly. It can be repetitive, but I don't mind that. It’s a steady way to work. I check my Yahoo mail regularly to see what’s coming in and what needs to be handled next. There isn't a team of people or a big marketing department here. It’s just me managing the tasks that come across my desk. I don't have a mission statement or a list of goals to show off. I just log on, do the work, and respond to the messages as they arrive. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes I wish I had a more formal setup, but this works for what I do. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy throughout the week. I stay at my computer for most of the morning and afternoon. The internet connection can be slow sometimes, but I manage to get through my list eventually. It is just a normal job.
