Omkar Screen Arts

If you go to Apollo Bunder and look for the Sai Pooja Hotel, we are right above it at 41496. Omkar Screen Arts is where we do all our work, mostly surrounded by the smell of ink and the sound of screens being cleaned. It’s an old space but it works for what we do. We don’t have a reception desk or a fancy waiting area. Usually, you’ll find us with ink on our hands or trying to get a frame aligned just right. The area around Apollo Bunder is always full of tourists and people walking by the water, but up here it’s just us and the machines. We’ve been doing screen printing for a long time. It’s a bit of a messy process and things don’t always go perfectly on the first try. We just keep at it until it looks right. We have stacks of paper and cloth everywhere. It’s not a corporate office at all. It’s more of a workshop where we just get things done. Sometimes it’s quiet and we can hear the birds, other times the fans are blowing loud to dry the prints. We don’t do much talk about missions or anything like that. We just take the orders and try to finish them on time. It is a simple business and we like it that way. Being above the hotel means there is always a bit of life nearby.
