We’re based in Borivali, right here in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic the real estate market can be. We started Omkar Realtors because we wanted to help people find places without all the usual stress you find in this city. Our office is a busy spot in Borivali where we spend a lot of time on our mobiles and checking out different sites. It’s not a very big office, but it’s where all the decisions happen. We deal with both residential and commercial stuff. Some days we are out in the sun all day looking at plots, and other days we are stuck inside doing paperwork. It’s a mix. We don’t use any of those slick sales tactics you see on TV. We just tell people what’s available and what the pros and cons are. Mumbai is a tough place to build or buy, so we just try to be as straightforward as we can. We’ve got a small group of people working here who really know the Borivali streets. We aren't trying to become the biggest company in India; we just want to do a good job for the folks who come to us. Usually, our clients are people from the neighborhood or friends of friends. It’s a very local business, and we like the feeling of helping someone find a home in our own part of the city. It makes the long hours feel worth it most of the time.
