Omega Electronics

You can find us over at Chandwarkar Lane on Vadasar Road. We’ve been operating Omega Electronics from this corner for a good while. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. There are gadgets and electronic bits everywhere you look. It’s the kind of place where there is always a soldering iron warming up somewhere in the back. We spend a lot of time looking at circuits and tiny components that most people wouldn't give a second thought to. The street outside is usually busy, so there is always some noise coming in through the door. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people just know we are here. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered with boxes from a new shipment, but we clear it out eventually. It's just a few of us working here. We handle the repairs and the sales as they come. No two days are exactly the same because you never know what kind of broken device someone is going to bring in next. It takes patience to figure out why something stopped working, but that is basically what we do all day. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever is on the bench at the moment. Sometimes the shop cat from next door wanders in and we have to shoo it away from the wires. We have a small radio that plays the news while we work. It’s just a regular spot for local folks to get things fixed. We don't mind the noise or the mess much.
