Om Sai Prints Saki Naka

Down here in Saki Naka East, things are always moving fast. Om Sai Prints is tucked away in the Gomes Compound on Kherani Road. If you know where Rahat Hotel is, we are right behind it in AB House. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always the sound of machines or trucks loading up. We spend most of our time at the machines, getting things printed out. The floor is usually covered in some scrap paper or ink marks, but that’s part of the job. It isn't a showroom; it's a workspace. We started this because we knew the area and saw a lot of businesses needed printing nearby. Most of our day is spent checking the colors and making sure the paper doesn't jam. Sometimes the electricity acts up, which is annoying, but we just get back to it when the power comes back. People find us by asking around the compound or seeing the sign near the hotel. We don't have a marketing department. It’s just us doing the work and hoping the customers are happy enough to come back next time they need something printed. It’s honest work. We stay late when there’s a big job, and we take it easy when things are slow. Saki Naka is a tough place to work because of the heat, but we stay busy. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we try to keep the machines clean enough to work.
