We are up on the first floor of the Ghaswala Building over on Islampura Street. It’s a busy part of the city, and the street is always crowded with people and carts. Our building is old, number 54, and you have to head up the stairs to find us. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the parts and paperwork we have lying around. The light isn't the best in the hallway, but once you get inside the shop, it’s a different story. We’ve got our machines set up and the guys are usually busy with forging work. It gets loud and a bit smoky, which is just part of the job. We've been in this location for a long time, so we know all the other business owners on the street. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find the manager right there on the floor with everyone else. We focus on the engineering side of things, making sure the metal is right and the specs are met. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by the end of the day. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people hear about us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen us here for years. It’s a simple operation, really, just doing what we've always done in the middle of Islampura.
