We are located over at 20, CAMA INDUSTRIAL ESTATE. It’s inside the SUN MILL COMPOUND in LOWER PAREL (W). If you’ve been around here, you know it’s an old industrial area that’s changed a lot lately. O.M. Books Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in one of these blocks. It’s mostly stacks and stacks of books here. The smell of paper is everywhere. It’s not a fancy bookstore with chairs and coffee. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we move boxes and organize titles. The trucks come and go from the compound all day long. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but once you’re inside among the rows of shelves, it gets quieter. We have a small staff. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and making sure the right boxes go to the right places. It’s physical work. Lifting heavy cartons is part of the daily routine. We don't have much of a front desk. If you walk in, you’ll probably see someone taping up a box or counting stock. Lower Parel is always busy, especially during lunch hours when everyone from the offices nearby comes out. We usually just eat at our desks or find a small spot outside. We’ve been here a while and know the security guards at the gate. It’s just our corner of the city, and we are fine with how things run here.
