We are located up on the 8th floor in Chembur, which is high enough that we don’t have to deal with the street noise quite as much as everyone else. Olympus Imaging India Pvt Ltd is a place where we handle a lot of technical equipment related to cameras and lenses. The office isn't overly decorated; it’s mostly just workbenches, some testing equipment, and boxes waiting to be sent out. We spend our time checking gear and making sure everything is working like it’s supposed to. It’s a bit of a specialized field, but we try not to make it sound more complicated than it is. The team here is small and we’ve all been working together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows and makes it a bit warm, but we just pull the blinds and keep going. We get a few visitors now and then who have questions about their equipment, and we just talk to them like regular people instead of using a lot of marketing talk. It’s a steady job and we like being in Chembur because it’s easy for most of us to get to. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically standing right where the work happens. It is a simple, functional space for people who care about how images are made and captured.
