Octamec

Octamec is based over in Mumbai, specifically at 1/11 Bit in the Sydhnem Compound. It’s located right on I R Road, which is always busy. If you know the area, you know it’s not exactly a quiet place to work. There are always trucks moving and people shouting across the yard, but that’s just the way it is in this part of town. Our office isn’t anything special to look at. We’ve got our equipment and our desks, and that’s about it. We spend most of our time dealing with the day-to-day tasks of the business. It’s a lot of practical work, not much sitting around and thinking about big ideas. We just get on with whatever needs doing. Sometimes the heat in Mumbai gets a bit much in the afternoons, especially in the compound, but we have some fans going and we keep at it. People come and go through the compound all day long. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and we’re used to the rhythm of the place. It’s a hardworking environment, and we fit right in with the other businesses around us. We don't have a big reception area or shiny signs. It's just a place where work happens. We focus on the things we know how to do and try to keep everything running smoothly without making too much of a fuss about it.
