We have been here on Grant Road for a while now. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets with all the traffic and people moving around all day. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get our work done. Most of us take the local train and walk from the station because it is easier than trying to drive through these narrow streets. It is loud outside but we are used to the noise. There are plenty of small shops around us and we usually grab tea from the corner stall during breaks. We don't really have a big corporate story to tell, just a group of people working together in this part of town. Sometimes the power flickers or the lift is slow, but that is just part of being in an older building in Mumbai. We keep things pretty simple here. Everyone knows everyone else's name and we don't bother with fancy titles or long meetings. It is just about getting through the daily tasks and making sure everything is handled right. The rains can be a bit of a mess during monsoon, making the walk to the office a bit of a splash, but we show up anyway. We have seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, yet the spirit of Grant Road stays the same. That is pretty much us.
