N.Y. Imports Exports

N.Y. Imports Exports is tucked away in the Navjivan Commercial Premises, Building Number 3. We are in Office Number 10 on the first floor. Being on Lamington Road means it is always busy outside. We have been in this co-op society for a while now. The building is older, and the elevators can be a bit slow, but it’s home for the business. Inside the office, things are usually a bit chaotic with all the importing and exporting documents piled up. We deal with a lot of different items, so you never really know what the next call will be about. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk to help you out. It’s a very practical way of working. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the numbers match up. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is coming in. It’s just how we keep things moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the containers are loaded correctly and the clients are notified. Lamington Road is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the rest of the businesses here. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on top of the small details. We just get through the day one task at a time and keep things moving.
