Tip Top Decorations

You can find Tip Top Decorations at 181 Tapia Mansion on Erskine Road. We are right by Null Bazar near the Gulalwadi Circle. If you know Mumbai, you know how hectic this area gets. It is a constant stream of people and traffic. Tapia Mansion is an old building and we’ve got our space set up with all sorts of items for decorating. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we have so much stuff piled up. There are ribbons, rolls of paper, and all kinds of small things everywhere. We try to keep it organized but it usually gets messy by midday when we are working on a few things at once. The fans don't do much against the humidity but we are used to it. My hands are usually covered in glue or bits of tape by the time we take a break. We listen to the radio a lot while we work to drown out the sound of the cars outside near the circle. It’s a lively place to be, that’s for sure. We see all sorts of people walking by our window every day. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a working space where we get things done. We stay late most nights because there is always one more thing to finish. That is just how the decoration business is for us here. It’s a busy life in a busy city. We just keep at it every day and try to stay ahead.
