N.R.Jasani

We’re located at Agarwal Ind. Est., specifically unit 139, G.S.V. Rd., in Jogeshwari-W. It’s an old industrial patch that stays busy from sunrise to sunset. N.R.Jasani is basically a workshop and warehouse combined into one. We deal with a lot of furniture components and materials, so the space is usually stacked high with crates and boxes. It can be a bit of a maze inside if you don't know your way around. The guys working here have a system for everything, though. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighborhood has changed around us, but the estate stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit gritty, but that’s where the work gets done. We don't put much stock in appearance; we just care if the machines are running and the orders are correct. Dealing with the traffic on G.S.V. Road is just part of our daily life. You learn which shortcuts work and which don't. Our office is just a small partitioned area in the corner where we keep the books and take calls. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We’re just a local business trying to stay on top of our tasks and get things out to people on time. It's a simple, honest way to earn a living in the city.
