Nitya Exports

You can find us at Nitya Exports over in Santacruz West. Our office is at 7, Nishank Mira, which is part of the Mira Baug area. It’s a relatively quiet residential-style neighborhood compared to the rest of Mumbai. Working here is a bit more relaxed. We handle exports, so a lot of our time is spent on the phone or on the computer. We track shipments and talk to people overseas. The office isn’t huge. It’s a simple space with a few desks and a lot of files. We don't have a big receptionist or a lobby. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our stations. Mira Baug has some nice trees and it feels a bit more like a home than a cold business center. It's a nice change of pace. It makes the long hours a little easier to deal with. We don't really have a big story to tell. We started Nitya Exports because we knew how to move goods and we wanted to do it on our own terms. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so we have a local feel. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy brochures. We just make sure the boxes get to where they need to go on time. It’s a lot of paperwork and following rules, but we’ve gotten pretty good at it over the years. It is what we do.
