Nitin Castings Limited

Our place is located in Aslfa Village, right off the main Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets around here. We are at Sainath Wadi, number 4/2. It’s an industrial area, really. We spend our time working with metal and castings. It's hot work, especially in the summers when the humidity hits. The shop floor is always busy with something. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the N.S.S. Road change as the metro came in and the traffic got heavier. Most of the guys working here have been around for years. We aren't a high-tech corporate office with fancy furniture. We have heavy machinery, dust, and the smell of metal. That’s what a casting business looks like. We just focus on getting the orders out for the people who need them. Sometimes the logistics of moving big pieces through Ghatkopar streets is a headache, but we’ve figured it out over time. It’s a local operation through and through. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the real work happens with our hands. It's loud, it's messy, but it's what we do every day. If you pass by Sainath Wadi, you’ll probably hear the noise from our machines running. It is a tough job but someone has to do it for the city.
